As a member of the Synapse DAO, I put together an application highlighting all of Synapse's contributions to the Optimsism ecosystem. Synapse has consistently and will continue to support Optimsim's mission to scale Ethereum and is fundamentally aligned with their future in many ways.

To date the Synapse bridge alone has brought $1B + , 430k users and spent 11+ ETH in fees to @optimism. Synapse also is launching Synapse Chain, an OP Stack L2, along with the Synapse Interchain Network, all on Optimism.
Most recently, the Synapse DAO launched Synapse Chain testnet, a OP Stack chain with Conduit. The testnet has garnered early interest from projects looking to build on top of it, and is the home of the Synapse Interchain Network.
Synapse Chain is also a uniquely configured OP Stack chain, it comes out of the box with fast bridging, and a connection to other chains supported by Synapse. Labeled the “SYN OP Stack” Synapse will allow any OP Stack chain to deploy with fast withdraws on day 1.

Additionally, Synapse protocol has over $1b in transaction volume and north of 1 million transactions on @optimism, making it one of the most popular ways to onboard into the ecosystem [https://explorer.synapseprotocol.com/chain/10]
Synapse DAO has helped to onboard the first gigantic wave of Optimism users, and continues to be the first touchpoint for users. Synapse not only is a bridge, but has integrated with key ecosystem projects like Base, Aerodrome, Velodrome, and more.
